Stronger every week.
One class at a time
Stronger
every week. One class at
a time
One of the benefits of attending group classes at The Pilates Gym is that, after your initial 1:1 assessment, you purchase courses of Pilates classes (typically 6 to 8 weeks per course) meaning you will see real results from consistent weekly attendance, building up your strength and technique with the same group of likeminded clients. This gives you accountability to show up at your scheduled time each week, whilst not having to panic to reserve your weekly space.
Another perk is our priority booking system – once you’ve secured a class (or classes) on a day and time that suits you, you’ll have first choice to keep that spot for the next course before it’s offered to anyone else.
If you cannot commit to course bookings (due to working shifts for example) there is the option to attend drop-in classes, however you still must complete an initial 1:1 assessment so we can determine the most appropriate level class for you. Drop-in classes can be booked one week before the scheduled class.

Mat Pilates
Simply you and a mat. Some weeks we might use other small Pilates equipment like bands, rings, balls or foam rollers which can add challenge as well as support the movements. Maximum of 12 in a class.
Postnatal Mat Pilates
Time for mum to get to know other new mums (without needing childcare!) whilst rebuilding strength in a gentle manner. Maximum of 6 in a class.
Reformer Pilates
Complete authentic Pilates exercises using a classical piece of Pilates equipment that operates via spring tension which offers both challenge and assistance. Maximum of 4 in a class.
Classes for All Abilities
Our 55-minute classes are organised in ability levels:
Learn the fundamentals of Pilates via beginner classes and build up strength and the correct technique, performing precise, flowing movements. We can advise you of when you may like to move to a different level class, or, you may prefer to stick with your allotted day and time and choose to accept the progressions on offer, rather than change classes.
